Fort Wayne, IN, U.S.A. has heralded nearly every invention vital toward video and audio advancement over the past century. In addition to inventing the World's first television and magnet wire; Ft Wayne, IN has been the sole birthplace of Stereophonic (stereo) sound itself. Fort Wayne inventors were the first to listen more than a mono audio track and blankly staring at an inanimate Brunswick radio. (Although very lifelike it seemed at the time). Audiav set out to build the absolute, no-hype needed type of system that addressed ALL of the top 20 needs in the daily life of the true a/v enthusiast / aficionado.  Audiav utilized a decade of customer research to emerge as the quintessential reference audio furniture designer team, uniquely blending customizable art into a perfectly functional design. Even with beginnings in Ft. Wayne, Audiav's current design teams stretch across the globe and have since been reclassifying reference a/v furniture at lower and lower price points. Audiav currently designs racks for some of the world's most luxurious residences in Paris, Aspen, LA, and New York; while also catering to the many, many suburbanite's underground "basement" audio shrines around the world.

THE BIRTHPLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

Audiav started as a "really, really big idea" in 1995, when the grandchild of a racing heritage legend & son of a master craftsman turned around one day and stepped back to notice something odd: listening rooms were filled with big & heavy a/v components, sprawled throughout the floors, taking up massive amounts of space. When asked why the floors were filled with equipment that should normally be in a rack, he was told that there were many reasons why a suitable "rack" didn't exist; the amps were so tall or heavy that they couldn't fit in standard racks, the components generate so much heat that the standard rack materials were inadequate, multiple types of interference types between the components stacked closely together was wholly unacceptable, localized vibration sources made isolation nearly impossible and finally; that high-end furniture manufacturers could not solve the issue of how to combine all of the (above mentioned) elements and maintain aesthetic appeal. In a true moment of epic clarity, the proverbial light bulb turned "on" and the relentless quest for the absolute "perfect" racking method painstakingly began.

In their search to design the revolutionary a/v furniture system, Audiav scoured the globe pulling expertise from U.S. Defense vendors, military, aerospace, racing and metallurgic engineering / prototype fabrication sectors while bonding with top researchers and high-profile designers in Germany, Italy, and the United States. Silicon Valley Designs then SVD was then formed and custom products were sold in Hollywood circles by a small team of designers. Audiav offered a firm distinction in strict reference styling by using new unmatched build tolerances and innovative modern designs. 

    In the 1990s Audiav was aptly dubbed "the world's most expensive and most exotic audio furniture rack stand ever designed" with the newly developed 18kt Gold Genuine Series.  In the year 2000, a name change bore early products then carried the name "AudiaGroup" (named for Audia, Jared Poiry's daughter then newly born). Audiagroup was operated for several years and the nameright was then sold. Audiagroup was then to be renamed and "Audiav" (derived from Audia's fifth birthday - Roman Numeral "V") and became the final tradename. 

Since the beginning, other companies have attempted all out replication, copy-and-paste info from our website, and even named their products similarly. We have read the most silly marketing comments ever written. Our competitors have marketed inadequate products with "performance" or "reference" labels. Our precision designed luxury furniture addresses all the needs of performance a/v display furniture, including: interference shielding, superb anti-resonance w/ jitter resistance, massive weight handling, heat dissipation, decor matching, EMF block, granite slabs, easy setup and complete compatibility with all known home audio and video components.
